Halaal food in Italy
I visited Italy a few years ago with my family. We went to Rome, Florence, Pisa and Venice.
These were our experiences with halaal food.
In Venice, halaal food is hard to find. There are Muslim owned takeaways like Pizza e Kebab but they will tell you that the only pure halaal meat they have is the schwarma meat which is imported. But they can prepare vegetarian pizzas separately for you.
In Florence there was a Pakistani area that had halaal food.
In Pisa, we found a halaal restaurant near the train station.
In Rome, there are a lot of halaal restaurants near the Termini – train station.
Also , in Rome, don’t miss Europe’s largest mosque – The Mosque of Rome Address: Via Anna Magnani, Parioli
NB: We did not find the Zabiha Halal information to be accurate.
If you have been to Italy recently and found more halaal food, please comment below.
